OPEN GOSPEL
I READ: Isaiah 60:1-3, 1 Timothy 4:12
In order for us to win souls for the Lord, we first have to be a light, blessing, testimony, and great example for others. Whether it be through our words, our actions, or our ways of living, we have to reflect Christ. A good example of this was the church at Thessalonica. They became a light to others. Through their life testimonies, they became a blessing for their community and even for other cities. Not only did they preach the gospel, but their lives became an open gospel and it was enjoyed by many. That is why Paul said to them that they need not spread the gospel around Thessalonica because through their lives, the gospel has spread all over the place. Be cautious because there are so many children of God who still compromise and they don’t become a blessing for others, but instead they become stumbling blocks.
I DECLARE: 1 Timothy 4:12 – Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
I DO : What action am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY : Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
