Daily Verses: Proverbs 13:13-16
Key Verse: Proverbs 13:13: He who despises the word will be destroyed,But he who fears the commandment will be rewarded.
Often times we see born-again Christians with no changes in their characters and behavior, they are the same as before they believed in Jesus. They might be diligent in reading God’s Word and going to church, but there’s no change. The reason is they do not do the Word or only do a part of the Word they read or hear. Don’t only do Daily Action that seems easy or fits well with ourselves, but do all of God’s Word without choosing. Psalm 119:105 says that Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. This shows that our lives will be righteous as what God wills if we do it according to His Word. The more we are rooted in God’s Word, the greater its impact will have in molding our characters and behavior. The Holy Spirit will help us to do all of God’s Word rightly and consistently. Those whose live their lives are according to God’s Word will not easily fall into sin or make wrong decisions that are not in accordance to His will.
Those who love the Lord will surely be obedient to Him and His Word.
