Daily Verses : Genesis 6:9-22.

Key Verse : Genesis 6:22:” Thus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did. “

God commanded Noah to build a big arc on top of a mountain because God was about to send a flood that would destroy the world. At the time, it was really odd but when God provided Noah and his children with the specifications to build the ark, they did not question God. They were obedient in building the ark. Noah was mocked and laughed at by his friends and the people around him when he was building the ark, which required years of effort. Some people even thought he was crazy. However, Noah’s obedience and trust saved his family. If Noah was disobedient, the miracle of salvation will not happen. From this, it is clear that in order for us to receive God’s miracle, we have to be obedient to the Lord. Obedient here talks about obeying whatever command the Lord has given specifically to us. Noah wasn’t just obedient but he was also righteous. His life was without blemish and he liked to walk with God (Genesis 6:9). In order for God to prioritize us, let us live in righteousness, obey the Lord, and have a close relationship with the Lord.

Being faithful to the Lord is more important than giving an offering.
