OBEDIENCE

I READ: Genesis 6:9-22.

God commanded Noah to build a big arc on top of a mountain because God was about to send a flood that would destroy the world. At the time, it was odd but when God provided Noah and his children with the specifications to build the ark, they did not question God. They were obedient to building the ark. Noah was mocked and laughed at by his friends and the people around him when he was building the ark, which required years of effort. Some people even thought he was crazy. However, Noah’s obedience and trust saved his family. If Noah was disobedient, the miracle of salvation will not happen. From this, it is clear that in order for us to receive God’s miracle, we have to be obedient to the Lord. Obedient here talks about obeying whatever command the Lord has given specifically to us. Noah wasn’t just obedient, but he was also righteous. His life was without blemish and he liked to walk with God (Genesis 6:9). In order for God to prioritize us, let us live in righteousness, obey the Lord, and have a close relationship with the Lord.

I DECLARE:  1 John 2:3:” Now by this, we know that we know Him if we keep His commandments. “

I DO:  I will not only be faithful to God but to the spiritual or worldly leaders whom God has put in my life.

I PRAY: I will pray so that shakings (i.e. Virus/Covid 19, natural disaster, etc.) will bring many souls to Jesus.
