NO COMPROMISE

I READ: Matthew 7:24-29

We can no longer live in sin and compromise to stay on guard for the Lord’s second coming. There are many biblical figures whose lives were full of compromises that they didn’t experience God’s blessings at the end of their lives. King Saul, for example, who in times of his struggle didn’t seek God first but instead went to the shaman for guidance. Similarly, Samson, as a servant of God, refused to find a spouse according to God’s desire, and instead married an idol worshipper. Another example is Judas, the treasurer, who didn’t steward the finances in the House of God with honesty. We, therefore, compromise when we know the word of God but refuse to do it.

I DECLARE: Psalm 26:3 – For Your loving kindness is before my eyes, And I have walked in Your truth.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
