I READ: James 5 : 17-18, 1 Corinthians 14 : 1-3
These days God will lead us into a deeper and more powerful prayer life. As believers, He will teach us about different kinds of prayer that will enable us to understand His power. Today we will learn about prophetic prayer, one that we need to practice continuously as we are facing our struggles in life. This is such an important prayer because it also allows us to know what we need to do with the things we are dealing with. Therefore, start practicing with a personal prayer that is not long and only full of requests. Learn how to be quiet and listen to the God’s voice. It is better to stay calm and wait on God rather than having our prayers occupied with demands that we do not spare time for God to speak to us.
I DECLARE: 1 Corinthians 14: 3 – But who prophesies, he speaks to people, he builds, counsels and comforts.
I DO: What actions am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
