NEW HOPE

I READ: Romans 8: 24-25; Hebrews 6: 11-19; Isaiah 43:19

When someone faces problems that never seem to end, sickness that’s not healing, unanswered questions, one tends to become desperate, begin to worry and lose hope.   Matthew 6:27 says that worrying cannot add to the length of the human life.  In fact, worries make a person lose his/her peace and can cause pain.  Jesus reminds us not to worry.  He has endured all of our anxiety.  The death of the Lord Jesus on the cross opens the way for us to experience God’s grace.  He gives us New Hope every day.  Hope in Jesus is a sure thing because He died and came back to life for us.

I DECLARE: Hebrews 6: 19-20a: – This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and            steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

I DO:  What actions am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
