I READ : Psalms 23 : 1 – 6
Before he became king, David was only a shepherd. On a dark night when all the sheep were sleeping, David kept watch over the sheep. He walked around in the vicinity of the sheep. When David walked in the darkness of night, David sang Psalms 23 as praises to God. Deep down in his heart, he may have felt afraid because he was in the dark, but he did not magnify his feeling of fear and anxiety. To the contrary, David glorified the Lord to build up his faith. Maybe today you find yourself in a state of fear or confusion and you are lonely or alone. Do not magnify our problems, magnify the Lord. Magnify the Lord through praise and declaration of the Word. There is assurance of God’s comfort and guidance in our lives.
I DECLARE : Jeremiah 10:6 : Inasmuch as there is none like You, O Lord! You are great, and Your name is great in might.
I DO : What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY : Pray according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
