LOVE ACCOMPANIED BY PATIENCE

Daily Verses: Galatians 5:16-26.

Key Verse: Proverbs 16:32:”
“Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city.”

Self-Control, which is equivalent to patient, is one of the fruits
of the Spirit according to Galatians 5:22. This characteristic has to always be
found in God’s children. In our life, we have probably made a bad decision when
we acted before God gives us the answer or we become impatient with others. However,
we have to know that patient will shield someone from making a bad decision.
Imagine if God is not patient with the sinners. We might all have perished. If
a person says that they have love but are not patient, that love will be
tasteless because his/her impatient will cover the love. Love needs patient
because if we want to someone whom we love or a situation to be changed, we
need to be willing to wait. Fights can be avoided if people have self-control
and patient towards others.

Patience can transform evil into good.
