I READ: Romans 8: 1 – 17
When we believe in Jesus, He sets us free from the law of sin. When we give ourselves completely to God, the Holy Spirit will enable us to live in the Spirit, so that we will be able to turn off the desires of the flesh that produce sins. However there are still children of God who are not willing to surrender themselves to the Holy Spirit. They still want to do the habits of sin. They have a high tolerance for sins and they have no desires to repent from their sins. Jesus did not regard sin as something simple and unimportant. If we as His children continue to play with sins, it means that we do not appreciate God’s redemptive work on the cross.
I DECLARE: Romans 8:13: For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
I DO: What actions am I going to take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
