I READ: John 4:16-29, Acts 26:12-29
When we evangelize to others, many times they start to open and tell us about their life stories. Just like the time when Jesus evangelized to the Samaritan woman. They had a long conversation and she at last told Jesus that she was living with a man who was not her husband. Jesus brought her to become a believer. There was also a similar story with Paul. One time, Paul had a chance to evangelize to the Roman Emperor, Agrippa. He talked about his life since before he knew the Lord till the time he was born again and served The Lord. His story ended with the story of Jesus, His death and resurrection. He then asked the Emperor to believe in Jesus. When we are evangelizing to others, there are usually three life stories being shared: the life stories of the person being evangelized, our own life stories, and the life story of Jesus.
I DECLARE: Acts 26:17b-18a – to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God
