I READ: Matthew 26:36-39, 2 Corinthians 10:5
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ have liberated us from our fears. That night before His crucifixion, Jesus had tremendous amount of fear. He was overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Because of that reason, He went to pray at a place called Gethsemane. His fear followed Him until His crucifixion. At that time, Jesus bore our phobias, traumas, anxieties and madness. He had to bear all, so we don’t have to. When we believe Jesus and His finished work of the cross, our fears are transformed into love and strength. Do not fear. When we fear, the accusation of the devil will convince us to make our fear to become reality. We need to break the devil’s lies and negative thoughts. We need to conquer it all and render all to Christ.
I DECLARE: 2 Timothy 1:7 – For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
