KNOW THE PROMISE OF GOD

I READ: Hebrews 6: 11-12, Romans 12: 12

Waiting for the fulfillment of God’s promise requires patience and faith. Although you are experiencing  hardships, keep believing and praying. God promised Abraham that he would be the father of many nations. Abraham still believed in the promise despite his age and there was no sign that he would become a father. But because of Abraham’s unshakable faith, God’s promises were fulfilled. So it was with David as well. God promised David that he would one day become King of Israel. It took years and through the struggles in his life, David was finally appointed King of Israel. During his waiting period, David never doubted God’s promises and never complained and wondered. He always gave thanks and praised God , the Lord’s appointment came and David became king of Israel.

I DECLARE:  Hebrews 6:12: – that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promise

I DO: What actions am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
