I READ : Psalm 20
To experience abundance and success, our lives need to be continuously anointed by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the power that God gives in our lives so we can experience triumphs. We succeed not because of our strength and intelligence, but because of His Holy Spirit that works within us. David, throughout his life, as king of Israel, always asked the anointing of the Holy Spirit to guide and empower him so that he can rule the nation wisely, Psalm 51:11. During his reign, the Israelites lived in God’s abundant blessings. On the other hand, Saul, wasn’t filled with God’s anointing when he reigned as king of Israel, hence the Israelites suffered great defeat against the Philistine 1 Samuel 16:14.
I DECLARE: Zechariah 4:6 – So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts
I DO: What actions am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
