Daily Verses: Galatians 5: 22, Luke 6:30-36
Key Verse: Luke 6:36: Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful
In these days, where things are getting more expensive and life needs are becoming greater, many people are afraid to be in lack and they only think about their own needs. But, as obedient children of God, we need to be bold in going against the current of the world and keep practicing mercy, as the Heavenly Father is also merciful (Luke 6:36). Remember Isaac’s story, where he continued to sow in the midst of the drought. Because of his obedience, he reaped a hundredfold of harvest. Someone who is kind or merciful will not be calculative with the Lord and also others. Every time there is an opportunity to give, they will give. Being kind will bless them when they give; they will feel joy in their hearts and they will reap in due time. Someone who is kind will never be in lack and they will not ask because the help of the Lord will always come on time. Someone who diligently gives is someone who lends the Lord and He will return it in greater fold.
God’s mercy and favor will follow those who are merciful.
