KEEP ON BELIEVING

I READ: Mark 10:46–52

Our Lord Jesus longs for us not to lose heart and to keep on waiting for His promises to come to past. He wants us to be patient and have an enduring heart until we receive. In the story of Bartimaeus, he kept on calling the name Jesus until he received a response. He did not cease to call upon His name or lose hope in the midst of a huge crowd who opposed him. Enduring faith like Bartimaeus’ moved the Lord. We should not worry about what anyone else says, only what Jesus says, because they will rob us from our beliefs. Keep on believing, hold steady onto His promises and ask relentlessly until we receive it. Remind ourselves daily about the goodness of our Lord. He is a God of relationship where he longs for us to be in His presence.

I DECLARE: Matthew 7:7–8 – Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
