KEEP HOLDING ON TO JESUS

I READ: Genesis 32:22-32.

Genesis 32:22-32 recount the struggle of Jacob with God in Bethel.

Jacob did not want to let go of God until He blessed him.  God changed Jacob’s name to Israel because he struggled with God and prevailed.  Being persistent and not easily discouraged made the Lord bless Jacob and from his descendants was born a great and chosen nation, Israel.  Jacob’s persistence and not willing to give up was shown when he worked with Laban, his uncle.  For years he waited to marry Rachel.  If we feel tired and almost to the point of giving up because our prayers have not been answered or the situation has not improved, let us continue to hold on to Jesus and strengthen our weak knees until we receive the answer. The word of God says, “Call to me and I will answer, knock and it will be opened to you, see and you will find.” So let us chase after God until a miracle happens and we receive victory.

I DECLARE: Psalms 37:5:” Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.”

I DO: I pray so that the lives of God’s children are filled with victory and that they’re not easily discouraged when struggles come.

I PRAY: I pray so that the Lord rises up intercessors who will pray at the prayer tower for great harvest of souls in the end times.
