JOY IN EVANGELIZING

I READ: 1 Thessalonians 2-3

In this book, Paul narrated about his struggle in preaching the gospel and in advising the church in Thessalonians to minister just like how he did. He reminded the church that it is their eternal joy to think about all the souls they have brought to the Lord and have been saved. God will confer His glorious crown to them as wage at His coming. Paul reassured and empowered the church that their work in spreading the gospel will not be done in vain. Paul sent Timothy to Thessalonians to reassure that their work was not in vain. Paul reminded them that they needed to stay strong and intimate with the Lord in preaching the gospel.

I DECLARE: 1 Thessalonica 3:9 – For what thanks can we render to God for you, for all the joy with which we rejoice for your sake before our God.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
