IMMANUEL

I READ: Matthew 1:18-25

The Lord Jesus who was born for mankind is Immanuel, which means God is with us. His birth is proof that He longs to be in the midst of mankind. He has promised to always be with us, protecting and comforting us. The Lord has promised to never forsake us nor leave us, Hebrews 13:5. There is no need for us to fear or worry, to be in doubt or lose heart because we will never be left alone by Him. He will always be with us to guide us. He is going to give us peace and we’re always going to be able to feel His presence. There is no need for us to ever feel lonely, for He is with us.

I DECLARE: John 1:14 – And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
