GUARD YOUR WORDS

I READ: James 3 : 8 – 12, Matthew 15 : 18 – 19

For us to always be on guard until the Lord comes, we need to guard our holiness. A few days ago, we learned to not live in sin, flesh and compromise. Today we will learn one more way to guard our holiness, which is by guarding our words to remain holy. Let us evaluate ourselves, how many words did we say in one day that do not please the Lord? How many complaining, useless, dirty, rebuking words came out from our mouths? How many Daily Declaration, words of blessings and prayers did we say in one day? Let us  guard our words always, because every useless word will break the power of Daily Declaration that we had already declared. The Word of God says, it’s impossible for blessing and cursing to come out from the same mouth; so inevitably, one of them becomes invalid. For our words to remain clean, we need to keep our hearts clean/pure. Keep dwelling in the Lord’s presence and meditate on His Word a lot, doing these things will purify our hearts.

I DECLARE: Proverbs 4: 23 : Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.

I DO: I will examine my heart whether or not I still have bad thoughts, hatred, compromise, and etc. I will take some time to pray and confess everything before the Lord so that He can purify my heart again.

I PRAY: Today I will pray with my family for our VIP prayer list
