GREATER WORK

I READ: John 14:7-13

More often when someone believes that Jesus is their Lord and Savior, that person is very eager to serve God. Despite the challenges they face they will not be discouraged or back down. Unfortunately, this eagerness disappears as time goes on. As children of God, we need to remind ourselves that God’s purpose in saving us is not just for our salvation. He intends His salvation for us as a special calling for a greater work so that others will also be saved. Do not be content with keeping quiet or doing small services, instead let God expand our ability to serve in the ministry. When we are faithful in small things, God will entrust us in greater works. We will be able to perform not only with our own strength but with His anointing and power.

I DECLARE: Psalms 145:4 – One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts

I DO: What action am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
