When Jesus lived on this earth, He always did great works. Miracles, signs and wonders always followed Him. The blind saw, the dead rose, and those who were bound to the power of darkness were liberated. He also walked on water during the storm, He calmed the storm immediately, He turned water into wine, and there are many other amazing things Jesus did. The Word that we read today says that if we believe in the Lord Jesus, then we can also do the works that He did, even greater works than those He did. If we truly believe, then there is nothing impossible for us, because we are able to do great works; and what is impossible will become possible. How can we believe in the Lord? When we see His cross and its power, believe that the Lord loves us, and believe in His grace. Then, our faith will rise. This faith is what will enable us to do great works, even greater works than what the Lord Jesus Himself had done.
Walk with faith, then we will experience miracle after miracle.
Daily Action:
In this new year, I will often meditate on the cross of Jesus, His love and grace, so that my faith can rise until I can do great works in my life.
Daily Declaration:
Philippians 4: 13: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Daily Prayer:
I will start to practice prayer that is followed by declaration of God’s Word until it becomes a lifestyle. I will also continue to pray for my VIP prayer list.
