I READ: Galatians 5:22, Matthew 5:13-16
Busyness, higher living costs, and life issues tend to make people focus on their own interests. God’s Word above reminds us that we must keep shining in the midst of an increasingly chaotic world, full of pressure and darkness. One way in which others can see the light of Christ in us is through the good deeds we do. Our good deeds can bring someone to Jesus, comforting a sorrow heart and answering one’s needs. When we do good, we should not expect a reward but do it sincerely and willingly. For every good deed we do, we bless others and also we sow a seed for the wages we will receive in Heaven.
I DECLARE: 2 Thessalonians 3:13 – But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
