I READ: Luke 22 : 39 – 44
One of the things that Jesus Christ is always exalted about is His obedience to the Father, and His prayer at the Garden of Gethsemane proved it. Jesus obeyed His Father’s will because He believed that everything the Father did was always for His own good. He loved His Father more than He loved Himself. Let’s also be spiritually mature like Jesus who was willing to put the will of the Father first before His own. We do so because we understand His will and everything He does is for our own good.
I DECLARE: 1 Peter 5:6 – Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
