GO!

I READ: Matthew 28:18-20, Isaiah 6:8-9

This Thursday, we will commemorate Jesus’ ascension to heaven.   Before He ascended to heaven, He gave important messages to His disciples, which includes us.  We are His disciples in the end times.  The messages he gave are written in Matthew 28: 19-20.   There are 4 messages that He longs for His children to do during their lifetime in this world.   Today we will learn the first message, that is: ‘Go’.  God longs for each of us to go and reap the souls for Him, preach the gospel, and lead them to believe in God.   Do not be afraid because God will always be with us.   The Holy Spirit will anoint us and give us wisdom and power to witness and evangelize.   The Great Commission is the ultimate command of God.  And since this is the commandment, it means we must do it earnestly.  Not because it is a choice, but as children of God, it should be our obligation.
