GLORIFYING THE LORD

I READ: Philippians 1:19-30

As children of the light, our purpose is to glorify God (verse 20).  What does it mean by a life that glorifies God? First and foremost, we have to be in accordance with the Word of God (verse 27).  Many of God’s children don’t live as what is written.  They compromise with the world and its sin.  They fail to become blessings to others and perhaps even act as stumbling blocks.  Second, we have to be fruitful.  John 15:8 says that when we bear much fruit, it glorifies God.  God and others around us will enjoy the fruits of our lives.

I DECLARE: John 15:8 – By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
