I READ: Galatians 5
Freedom in Christ means that we no longer live through the flesh but through the spirit. We are always lead by the spirit because our flesh with all of its passions and desires have been crucified with Christ and in return we have received the fruits of the spirit. Apostle Paul reminded us not to indulge in the freedom that God has given us to live in sin. Do not take advantage of His forgiveness to act in sin because his mercy was given to us for free. If we react according to our fleshly desires we prevent God’s blessings from flowing into our lives. When we live in the spirit we actually crucify our flesh along with its desires.
I DECLARE: Galatians 5:1 – Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
