FORGIVER

I READ: Romans 12:12-17

Today we learn from Joseph and his siblings’ lives.  Joseph’s siblings were jealous and hated him for no reason.  They threw him into a well and later sold him to the Egyptians.  Despite what they did to him, Joseph chose not to get upset or stage a revenge against them.  He also didn’t live in bitterness.  Joseph believed that everything happened in his life was for his own good.  He was able to see with his spiritual eyes that his siblings’ actions were to bring him as the second-in-command who would take care of a great nation.  Today, live our life in joy.  Choose not to return evil with evil; learn to forgive.  The devil will try to use bad events in our life to destroy us, but God will turn them all into blessings.

I DECLARE: Romans 12:18 – If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.

I DO: What actions am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
