Daily Verses: John 21: 1-14, 19
Key Verse: John 21: 19: He said to him, “Follow Me.”
After Jesus was raised from the dead, He gave an opportunity for his disciples to spend time with Him before He eventually left them and ascended to Heaven. One morning He revealed Himself to a few disciples that were going fishing, and Peter was among them. They ate breakfast together and after they finished eating, Jesus had a conversation with Peter. Jesus said to him, “Follow Me.” What does it mean to follow Jesus? It means that we have to be willing to walk with Jesus. We will not walk according to what we desire, but we walk according to His will and His plan for us. In other words, we have to surrender to God. It may seem uncomfortable, but if we truly understand that His will and plan are the best for our lives, then we will be rejoicing and follow Him unconditionally. At the end, we know that everything will be delightful and filled with blessings.
Walk with Jesus; that way, we won’t be lost ever again.
Daily Actions:
Today I will pray and learn to fully surrender to His plan. Whatever I will be doing in this life, I will not forget to ask Him first.
Daily Declaration:
Psalm 37: 23-24: The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand.
Daily Prayer:
Today I will also pray with my family for my family’s VIP list and ask God to touch their hearts.
