I READ: Revelation 2:1-7
We have to continue to grow in the Lord so that we can be mature spiritually. When the Lord comes for the second time to pick us up as His bride, we are going to be ready. In our spiritual journey in reaching maturity, we must possess that first love for the Lord. First love is the feeling that we had when we first received Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Today, let’s take a look at own our heart to see whether or not that first love is still in us. If the love has grown cold, the Lord’s message in Revelation 2:5 is that we have to repent and return to our first love We have to be excited and on fire again.
I DECLARE: Matthew 22:37: “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”
I DO: What actions am I going to take today after meditating on the Word of God?
