I READ: Revelation 3: 14-22
Not hot nor cold, describes the spiritual state of the church in Laodicea. The lukewarm church is the one who compromises with the world. Beware of the lukewarm spirits which will prevent the spirit within us to flare up for Christ. A lukewarm spirit will make us lazy about spiritual things. Be hopeful on the Word of God despite the unpleasant situations and challenges we may be facing. His Word can keep our spirits burning and serve the Lord. In Luke 24: 32, it is said that as Jesus spoke and explained the Scriptures to his disciples, their hearts were ablaze. That is why we must live and stay in the Word of God. Read God’s Word every day, meditate on it, and declare them for our lives. Don’t forget to practice them in our lives as well.
