I READ: Luke 15:11-32
The parable of the lost son mirrors our old selves as lost children who returned to the love of the Father after receiving Jesus as our personal savior. A child who embraces Jesus Christ, the Father, will automatically imitate and do what the Lord Jesus did when He was on earth. That individual will diligently spread the gospel, helps the poor, prays for the needy, does good deeds and loves one another. Besides that, that individual will possess the character and image of Jesus and the love of the Father in his/her heart. The Kingdom of God, which belongs to the Heavenly Father, also belongs to those individuals who are closely bonded with Him. Let’s embrace Jesus by meditating on His words accompanied by praising and worshiping Him relentlessly.
