I READ: Galatians 5:22, Isaiah 11:1-10
Faithfulness is one of the characters of our Father in Heaven. He faithfully raises the sun every day, He faithfully guards and nurtures the lives of His children and He faithfully does what He says. Whatever the circumstances, God will remain faithful to His children even though there are some of His children who have abandoned Him. What about us? Often we are only faithful if the circumstances are in accordance with our wishes. Husbands or wives can become unfaithful because there are things that change and not in accordance with their wishes. Friendships can be distant because one party does things that are unacceptable. One can leave the church and ministry because of a painful event and not in accordance with what is expected. If God has superficial loyalty, surely none of us will go to heaven.
I DECLARE: Psalm 100:5 – For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
