FAITHFUL TO THE END

I READ : 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

Apostle Paul possessed a clear vision and mission in his life. Although he had to encounter afflictions and persecutions due to the preaching of the gospel, he never yielded or retreated. Paul once said “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21). He understood that all he had done for God will not come back empty-handed but he will receive an imperishable crown. As servants of God, we need to understand that all the sacrifices and adversities we endure will not be in vain. Do not admit defeat but focus our eyes to the heavenly calling because we know that our faithfulness to the end will lead us to receiving the victor’s crown.

I DECLARE : 1 Peter 5:4 – and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.

I DO : What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY : Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
