I READ: 2 Timothy 4:5-8
Often we hear the saying the first step is important, but the final step is decisive. In the match of faith, opening the heart to accept the Lord Jesus as a Savior is very important. But it’s also important that the way we live our faith in the Lord everyday reaches the final line of our lives. In John 6, Jesus fed 5000 people. It’s written after that incident many people were amazed and surprised and believed in Jesus because of that miracle. But as time went on, not all of those people were faithful to the end in their belief. Some of them retreated because they lost their faith. There also retreated because they didn’t see any more miracles. There were also those who retreated because they were bored and preferred to complain. To be faithful to the end, we need that first love and passion that keeps burning and we have to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
I DECLARE: Revelation 2:10B – Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
I DO: What action am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
