FAITHFUL IN WORSHIP

Daily Reading: Genesis 2:1-3.

Our Father God created the heavens and the earth for six days.  And on the seventh day He rested.  Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it.  As children of the highest God, this is the pattern that we must follow.  On the seventh day (Sunday for us), we must stop working and sanctify it for God by going to the house of the Lord/church and worship Him.   Many children of God believe that they are forced to work on Sundays (Sabbaths) due to the increasing demand of daily needs and the demands of work.  We need to remember that God didn’t just sanctify the Sabbath day, but he blessed it as well (Genesis 2:3). Therefore, when we obey God’s command to rest on the Sabbath day, we will receive blessings.  We must believe that our blessings come from the Lord and He adds no sorrow (hard work) with it (Proverbs 10:22).  By going to the house of the Lord or church, we show our obedience to God’s will and this act will also stop us from drying out our spirit.  By resting in His presence, He will refresh our minds and bodies so we can pass another week with fresh strength and anointing.

Daily Declaration: Leviticus 19:30:” You will keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary; I am the Lord!”

Daily Action: I will continue to worship the Lord wherever I’ll be.

Daily Prayer: I will pray that the church of God will continue to reap new souls every Sunday service.
