FAITH AND THE SURRENDERING OF ONE’S SELF

I READ: 2 Corinthians 10: 3-5

As human beings, sometimes it is not easy to entrust the problems that we are facing to the Lord.  Often times, our minds that are filled with worries and fears will hinder us from surrendering to God.   Our minds can also make it hard for us to believe in the Lord, and we even begin to question about the ability and power of God.  The word of God today reminds us that if our thoughts are filled with worries and fears, we need to go into prayer warfare and rebuke all those thoughts.   We have to rebuke the devil who is trying to disturb our minds by sowing the seeds of worries and fears.  Pray and subject our minds to the mind of Christ.  And start to fill our minds with the word of God so that our hearts may be in peace and we can start again to surrender to the Lord.   Whatever problems we are facing right now, face them with faith and surrender wholly to the Lord so that God can take over all of our problems and solve them for us.

I DECLARE: 1 Peter 5: 7: Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

I DO: When was the last time I surrendered all my problems wholly to the Lord?  Have I been trying to solve my problems alone?

I PRAY: I will do a prayer walk in my school, my workplace, and my neighborhood until there are united prayers in those locations and prayer teams are started.
