I READ: Luke 18: 1-8
Our prayers will be answered when we pray with faith and diligence. Pray diligently and don’t become weary, don’t give up and continue to pray over and over again until we receive the answer to our prayers. Just like the story of a persistent widow in Luke 18, she received justice from the judge because of her persistence/diligence by her continual coming to the judge. We need to believe that the Lord gives a reward for those who seeks Him seriously. Look at the example of Elijah, who prayed diligently in asking the Lord to send rain in Israel. He continued to pray until seven times, then the Lord answered his prayer and a heavy rain came down upon Israel, 1 Kings 18. God gives us this message- if we ask diligently like someone who is knocking on the door continuously, then surely God will open up a door for us someday. Don’t give up easily and leave God because whoever seeks the Lord, His Word promises that they will find Him.
I DECLARE: Matthew 7: 8 : For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
I DO: If my problem is not yet answered by the Lord, I will continue to pray with faith and not lose heart until He answers my prayers.
I PRAY: Today I will pray with my family in unity and we will pray for our family’s prayer topics.
