I READ: Daniel 3:1 – 30
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego was cast into the burning fiery furnace because they refused to worship the gold image of King Nebuchadnezzar. They insisted on only praising and worshipping the Lord Jesus Christ. Their faith and love for God were really amazing. Nowadays, we are also seeing many children of God who are being persecuted and experiencing problems because of what they do for God. Some of them may be fired because they do not want to work on Sundays. Some of them may not be promoted because they refuse to change their beliefs. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego responded to the King, “[…] our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” From this story we learned that when we truly focus on God, no matter how difficult our problems are, He is going to take care of them all for us.
I DECLARE: Matthew 6:33 – But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
