DO NOT WORRY

I READ: Matthew 6: 25 – 34

Our concern for life often times make us “blind” towards other things. The more we focus on our own problems, the more we’re unable to see what the Lord is entrusting in our lives. We won’t have enough energy to do God’s work because our energy is already wasted in trying to find answers to all of our problems. A person who is constantly worried, is unhappy and does not live a peaceful life. People who worry tend to be selfish as well. The Lord cannot use these types of people. It’s not because He doesn’t want to use them, but it’s because people who worry do not have energy to work even more for God. Remember that being worried is not going to add anything to our life.

I DECLARE: Philippians 4: 6: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
