I READ : Matthew 4: 1-11, Luke 4: 1
Jesus gave us an excellent example of how to avoid the devil’s temptations in our lives. First, we must always be filled with the Spirit, Luke 4:1. Second, be filled with the word of God by diligently reading His Word and do not forget to declare every word of it in our lives, Matthew 4: 4,7,10. Jesus rebuked the devil’s temptations by declaring “It is written …”. And third, cast out demons that try to interfere with our lives by praying, Matthew 4: 10a.
