I READ : 1 Samuel 17:40-51
Today we’re going to learn from the life of David, specifically regarding his victory over Goliath. He wasn’t intimidated at all by the threats coming from Goliath and his nation. When it came the time for David to face the real fight, he fully surrendered to the Lord. No negative thoughts were able to intervene his focus. The story of David showed how God’s power and guidance were really amazing when he put his trust in Him and began declaring his faith: “This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, … For the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.”
I DECLARE : James 4:7 – Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
I DO : What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY : Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
