CROWN OF REJOICING

I READ: 1 Thessalonians 2 & 3

In the book of Thessalonians, Paul shared a lot about his struggle in preaching the gospel and advised the church of the Thessalonians to follow his example. He reminded them that the souls they bring to the Lord and are saved by Him will become their eternal joy. Moreover, the Lord will give them a reward, the crown of rejoicing, when He comes again. Paul strengthened the church of the Thessalonians by reminding them that even though they preach the gospel with labors, it will not go in vain.  Paul reminded them to continue to be strong in preaching the gospel and that they need to work as a team- to work together in unity so that there will always be someone that strengthen others when they are weak.

I DECLARE: 1 Thessalonians 3:9 – For what thanks can we render to God for you, for all the joy with which we rejoice for your sake before our God,…

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
