CHILDREN OF GOD

I READ: Galatians 4:1-7, Hebrews 4:14-16

The Lord Jesus came to deliver us from sin and the world.  When we believe in Jesus and the work of His cross, we become children of God and free from curses and punishments.  We can call the Father in heaven, Abba Father.  We who live under grace, our faith is not a religion, but it is a relationship with the Father.  In the past, we pray because it is a necessity, obligation or routine, but now we pray because we have an intimate relationship with the Father.  The Father who loves us and the Father we love.  Our relationship is like the relationship between a child and his father, where a father loves his children very much.  And because we are children of God, we are also heirs of the kingdom of God.  We have the right to all the promises of the Father and all the abundant blessings that the Father has prepared for us.

I DECLARE: Hebrews 4:16 – Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

I DO: What action am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY:  Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
