I READ: Isaiah 1:10-20
At the time of Prophet Isaiah, The Lord was displeased with the offerings that were presented by the Israelites. Even though they had offerings for the Lord they still lived in sin. For God, it is better to live in righteousness than to give Him all kinds of offerings. The Lord then said to the Israelites that they had to live a life that is pleasing and blessing the Lord. The Israelites listened and obeyed the voice of the Lord. So the key to be pleasing to the Lord is to listen and obey. The Lord guarantees that we will eat the good of the land where we live. In other words, obedience brings God’s blessings over our lives. The Lord only entrusts and blesses those who are obedient to Him.
I DECLARE: Isaiah 1:19 – If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;
I DO: What actions am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
