BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING

I READ: Joel 2 : 21-27

The above verse explains that at the time of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit (symbolized by water and rain), there is also an outpouring of blessings. The outpouring of blessings is not limited but it comes down in abundance, even poured out to our children and grandchildren. God’s purpose is to bless us so we can be a blessing to others. Not only do we become a blessing, but through our generosity, those who do not know God will seek Him. God blesses us not for us to enjoy that blessing alone, but more than that, so that we can be used as His instrument, to glorify Him and draw souls to God. If God blesses us abundantly, do not forget to return them to God by being a blessing to others and to His church.

I DECLARE: Joel 2:24,26: The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil…You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied.

I DO: What actions will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit
