I READ: John 5 : 1-9
When Jesus went to the pool of Bethesda there is a lame person who has been there for 38 years. He has lost all hopes, so when Jesus asked him if he would like to be healed, he did not say yes. Instead he gave Jesus so many excuses why bad his condition was to the point it was implied as impossible to be healed. Often times we are as the lame man. We are so overwhelmed by our problem we often forget how much bigger is our Lord Jesus. When the Lord asked us, we tend to answer with how big our problem is. Let us take an example from this lame man, so we can receive His miracles by believing and surrender fully without many thoughts and excuses.
I DECLARE: Mark 5:36 – As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, Do not be afraid; only believe.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
