I READ: Romans 8:1-15.
When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are adopted as children of God replacing our previous status as slaves of sin. Unfortunately, there are plenty of believers that are not aware of their new status, they see themselves as a common man and not as sons and daughters of King of all kings. As a result, these people do not believe that there is an assurance of abundant living that God has provided. Our Father in heaven truly cares and has the desire to be close to us. He wants us to be fully dependent on Him, entrusting our lives through His guidance. God longs to communicate with us daily. If anyone of us does not have an intimate father and son relationship with God, this is the time for us to return to Him. There is no greater love than the love of our Heavenly Father. If His love surrounds our lives, no matter how big the situation we are facing, we will stand firm, endure and never give up. Acknowledging that we are God’s beloved children, will enable us to overcome the devil’s intimidation to destroy us. Let’s live life as sons and daughters of God’s kingdom by deploying the right which has been bestowed upon us.
I DECLARE: Proverbs 24:21-22, “My son, fear the Lord and the king; Do not associate with those given to change; For their calamity will rise suddenly, and who knows the ruin those two can bring?
I DO: I am rejoicing because I am not a common man, but a child of God’s kingdom.
I PRAY: I will pray and entrust my life and my family in God’s hands to always live in victory.
