I READ: Matthew 27:50–51, Hebrews 10:19–22
By offering His soul as the perfect offering, Christ has opened the way to the Father and to the throne of grace for those who believe in Him. This was symbolized by the splitting of the holy temple into two. People were able to go before the Lord’s presence freely, without having the feeling of intimidation and the feeling that they were not worthy. Everyone who receive Christ in their heart and have been sanctified from their sins, have the honor to go before His presence. There is no longer a curtain that separates us from meeting God. We are able to go before Him and pray every single time we need the Lord. Our relationship with God has become intimate, just like the relationship of a father and his children.
I DECLARE: Hebrews 4:16 – Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
