I READ: 2 Corinthians 2:12-14, 2 Corinthians 5:17
When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He will replace our heart with a new heart. When our hearts become new, our hearts will be sensitive to the feelings God places in our hearts. Often God speaks through the feelings that are in our heart, or in other words through the impression in our heart. As in the story of Paul you read above, suddenly his heart felt uneasy and he was convinced that he had to meet Titus. His feeling was so strong that he decided to go see Titus. Often when we pray for others or for the nations, God also puts a specific feeling in our hearts, such as a feeling of compassion which can make us cry while we are praying for them. The impression in our hearts will also enable us to make the right decisions according to God’s plan.
I DECLARE: Ezekiel 36:26 – I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
